Keegan’s Kutz is open!

Things are getting desperate in the Keegan household! Joe and Mr Keegan were moaning about their hair so I had to get the clippers out and, to be honest, I’ve not done a bad job. I found ears quite a challenge but they’ve still got 2 each. Mr Keegan is moaning a bit as he says he has a high fringe and a high neckline! Well at least his fringe won’t be in his eyes 🙂

Monday’s Here Again

Good morning 6H,

I hope you all had a great weekend – wasn’t it lovely to see the sun?

In our google classroom, under the heading ‘Easter Weeks’ there is a menu of Easter challenges for you to choose from over the next two weeks, along with a few different Maths Test Papers as we know many of you love the challenge of these.  Pick an activty, complete it in whatever way suits you best and email me your responses or turn them in via google classroom.  There will be five points awarded for every completed activity – can you make it to 50 points?  We will post a treat out to you if you can.

Don’t forget that in addition, there are also many online sites such as Read Theory, TTRockstars, Frog Learning.

MIss you all

Mrs H

Got those moves like Jagger!

Have you seen the dance video? Have a look as you may recognise some people. It’s been lovely to see so many people on line. Please use the holiday time to catch up and have a look at the expedition tasks. A big shout out to Lacie B for getting the virtual yellow t shirt! She’s been doing great literacy work so it’s well deserved.

More gorgeous rainbows!

I have been sent even more gorgeous rainbows by this lovely lot! It certainly puts a smile on my face when I see them so I can only imagine how it makes key workers feel as they walk past your homes! 🌈 On Friday, I will share our rainbow video, so you still have a few days to send yours in to be featured!

Well done years 5/6

These lovely residents from Woodlands care home wanted to thank our years 5/6 children for their cards and letters they sent during this very lovely time for them. As you can see by the pictures, it certainly put smiles on their faces so well done you lovely lot! Once again I am so very proud of you all! Please keep in touch with me over Easter and get involved with our challenges! We are one day closer to seeing you all again 💙

Mrs Haycock’s Critique of the Week

I notice many more of you are checking in and accessing the online learning.
I praise those of you who are completing all of the work set and submitting it to me.
I wonder if you are making sure that you give your eyes a regular break from devices?

Shout outs to:
Aisha, Cailey, Adam, Luca, Josh and Dominik for keeping me super busy all week.
All 6 of you have been absolute stars this week – Adam has even been ticking TGBs and spotting silly mistakes for me! 😉

Additional shout outs to:
Riley and Keanna for persevering when, at times, it’s been almost impossible for you to access the online classroom.

Have a fabulous weekend and keep smiling, Purple People Eaters!

Miss you all.

Mrs H 🙂

Happy Fab Friday

Morning 5K,

Sorry the blog is late but it has been a busy day in school. We had another P.E session with Joe Wicks who was dressed as spiderman this morning! I am so glad 5K our PE sessions are not as hard as his work outs are! I have managed to talk to some mums and dads and I have been passing on how proud we are of you all. Keep working hard at home.
