Learning from home

As we move to using Google Classrooms next week, please use the website to log in to your account.

Username – (first initial of first name and surname @ploverschool.co.uk) eg [email protected]

Password for all children in 2L – plover12

Please see the guide below on how to access this for your child – thank you Mrs Graves and Mr Whitfield!

You should then be able to access the work that I am setting each day for the children (this will be set for them each day so do not worry if you cannot see anything yet, it will be there on Monday morning). I will then be able to respond to them and mark their work.

With a huge thank you for all your support

Miss Lotysz

Joe Wicks

Joe Wicks has announced that he will do a live workout Monday-Friday at 9am via his YouTube channel! Follow the link below!

https://m.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1/search?query=hiit

It’s for 30 minutes each day and will be a great way to get everyone energised, fresh and ready to start the day ahead (as well as take the pressure off you grown ups at home too. Grab yourselves a cuppa!)

Other websites to help keep active are the very popular ‘Go Noodle’ and ‘Cosmic Kids Yoga’

Reading at home

Here is a free website that has access to thousands of online books. There is a free 30 days trial when you sign up on the homepage, which hopefully should give you support in having plenty of new reading material to share with your children!

Aircraft Museum

2L will be heading out on their school trip tomorrow to the aircraft museum. Please remember packed lunches for those who have asked to bring their own and please remember to bring cardigans or jumpers along to wear, although the visit is based indoors, it is a very cold environment.

The coach is due to leave at 9:40am and arrive back at school for 2:30pm. Due to the school trip, book and a biscuit will not be going ahead for 2L tomorrow.

I’m sure it will be a lovely day and I know how excited all the children are.

World Book Day

2L have had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day and I have loved the fabulous costumes the children have worn. Everyone has looked amazing! I’m sure the children are very excited to tell you all about the activities they have completed today.

Visit from a pilot!

Key Stage 1 were very lucky to have a visit from a real life pilot today! The children asked him lots of interesting questions and learnt a lot about how to fly planes.
