We are taking a trip to Hogwarts…

Just a reminder that this Friday is our Harry Potter dress up day. We will be swapping our maths and literacy lessons and instead, we will be participating in lessons only wizards and witches engage in- defence against the dark arts, quidditch, potions, behind the magic and transfiguration. The children will each have the opportunity to be sorted into a house by the sorting hat before the day at Hogwarts begins. This is going to be such an exciting day and we can’t wait to capture all of the exciting things we get up to and we will of course share them on our blogs!
I wonder what our guiding question is going to be?

Feeling musical!

We are very lucky to have a student in who wanted to deliver a music lesson. The children learnt how to use Chrome Music Lab and had great fun sharing their music.

Eggcellant creations!

Well done to those children who have entered the egg decorating competition so far in 5/6. I am absolutely loving your creations! Although I haven’t seen a Pug entry yet- I’m hoping I see one tomorrow! You still have until tomorrow to enter to be in with a chance to win a range of Easter eggs!

Yellow t-shirt winner is….

Jasmine! Well done Jasmine. You are very committed to learning and strive to be the best you possibly can be. Your confidence in your maths ability has grown as your knowledge has grown. Well done and keep learning.

Accelerated Reader League

Well done to Crew Blackham for passing the most quizzes for the 2nd week running. A shout out goes to Crew Chapman for coming a very close second. However, I’m most impressed with Crew Topliss this week – they must have been reading lots and quizzing because they have managed to get into third place.

Awesome reading KS2! Keep going and remember every time you pass a quiz about the book you’ve just read, you will be in with a chance of winning a box of Dunkin Doughnuts. Remember, you have to read to win it!
