Learning to speak in public

As part of our English Cycle, we have been learning about how to speak in public. We had to speak for 2 minutes to our peers about a topic we were passionate about. We tried not to pause or use words like ‘erm’ and ‘umm’! It was very challenging! We also tried to maintain good eye contact and speak in an engaging way. We had such a good time and everyone was a super sport joining in. Well done 3T #LovePlover

The sun has got his hat on!

Hello everyone,

This is just a reminder to send children to school with a water bottle now that the days are becoming sunnier and warmer. It is a great idea to label their bottles as sometimes children have the same style of bottle. You may also want to consider sending children in with some sun cream and a hat for the very sunny days! It is lovely to see the sun shining and we want the children to be able to enjoy it as safely as possible.

Well done LKS2

I just wanted to say a big well done to Year 3 and 4 for all their hard work this half term.

I have been so impressed by the way the children have engaged with our expedition and there has been a brilliant range of home learning brought in, showing how much they have been enjoying their learning.

The children have done so well since coming back into school and they certainly deserve a return to some fun and normality this school holiday.

Work to ‘Bee’ proud of!

I wanted to celebrate the lovely work that the children have been producing, so we now have a new class display ‘Work to Bee proud of’. Well done to Shashank, Pranav, Felicity, Zeynep, Maisie-Ella and Esther for the first six pieces of work on the display.
The work shows the explanation texts, diary entries and posters that we have written in English lessons.

Pride of Plover

Well done to Luke, this week’s Pride of Plover. Luke has produced some fantastic writing this week in Archi. The class were incredibly proud of him. Luke is also joining in more on the carpet and growing in confidence all the time. Well done Luke! #LovePlover

Curling!

We’ve had such a good time curling this afternoon! We might see a few children in the Olympics one day, some hit the centre target every time! #LovePlover
