Welcome back

What a great couple of days we have had back in school! We have started off the week by orienteering for clues to find out what our guiding question is for the new expedition. We have started to immerse our classroom and have drawn some fantastic pictures of polar bears to be displayed. Tomorrow I know the children are really looking forward to going for a walk in our local area, don’t forget to wrap up warm

Our new expedition

This morning Y3 and Y4 were busy orienteering on the school field trying to find the title to this term’s guiding question. We had lots of fun using a compass to find the direction of the clues and used our problem solving clues to work out the title.

We are looking forward to beginning our expedition: Why should we protect our beautiful planet?

Hook week- discovering our guiding question!

Year 4 had a very exciting morning discovering our new guiding question for our new expedition. We looked at compass points to find different bags, each containing a word from our guiding question. We then organised the words to uncover our guiding question: Why should we protect our beautiful planet? It was so lovely to see the children so excited again after Christmas.
