Hello KS1!
Please help! We would love some recycled materials for Friday as we need to get crafty for our next expedition! Please bring in plastic bottles, old clothes and tins.
Thanks everyone!
A huge shout out to Oliver who won a Plover praise postcard last Friday off Miss Lister for improved attendance and working hard at his learning!

Congratulations to Elijah in 2B, Christopher in 2P and Charlie in 1M. All children have shown a real maturity and calmness this week as well as being kind to others. But most importantly have challenged themselves to do some brilliant work!

Over the last 2 weeks we have been learning about ‘Segregation.’ We have looked at how this feels to gain an understanding of the word, we have painted pictures how this will look and we have spoken about this in different contexts within our key texts about ‘Rosa Parks’ and recently about ‘Martin Luther King.’ Well done 2P!
Crew Abbiss have worked hard today making their poppies ready for Remembrance Day tomorrow. They worked as a crew to help each other to construct them together. Crew Abbiss wore them with pride all day!
KS1 children and grown ups we have a fun competition with a wonderful prize up for grabs which links to our expedition learning – get creative and crafty. Can you produce some arts and crafts which celebrates real life heroes: some ideas below.
We look forward to your entries and Mrs Ogle will choose a winner on Friday!
