Gorgeous writing this morning!

This morning 6B worked really hard in their fish bone session. They unpicked the features of a non-chronological report- we then reflected on what features they were confident using and which needed further modelling. They have made an awesome start on their plan! So proud!

Celebrating beautiful work!

A shout out to Leon, Kaycie, Oliver, Maison and Craig! They were so proud of their work today that they asked me if I could take a picture to share on our blog. I have loved reading your newspaper reports and I feel so, so proud of you all! 5 crew coins each! 💰💰💰💰💰

Excellent editing!

6B have been working so hard editing and improving their writing this morning. Their newspapers are sounding awesome! Well done my lovely lot- I can’t wait to read and mark the finished versions!

We need to read!

Please encourage your children to read as often as possible. Reading has been an area we have been trying to promote in a number of different ways across school and the friendly competition is heating up.

Come on though 6H… We made into the top three this week (at last) but can we do even better still?

Let’s get reading!

Pride of Plover

This week’s Pride of Plover winner in 6H is Tilly. She has impressed me so much with her determination to be the best that she can be. She has worked so hard to get smart and improve the work she has produced.

Well done Tilly! You star!

Thank you! We raised just under ÂŁ100 🥪

Thank you to everyone who bought a bacon or a sausage sandwich this morning! We managed to raise just under ÂŁ100 which is amazing! Here are some photos from this morning (some children were too excited that they ran off to eat their sandwich before I managed to get a picture!)

6B’s yellow T-shirt winner is…

Maison! I couldn’t not award it to Maison this week as his recount absolutely blew me away! His presentation was fantastic and he really pushed himself to ensure he was proof reading his work and acting on critique to make it the best it could be! I am so proud of you mate! Keep up the hard work!
