Reading at home – prize to be won!

Read at home and have your reading record signed (reading records to follow this week) for the chance to be entered in the draw for a Ā£25 fish and chip voucher! (This is for use at our local fish and chip shop). Youā€™ll be able to treat your family to something delicious as a reward for your hard work! 1 entry per day please (so even if you read 3 times at home in one evening, you will only be entered once). Crew leaders will try hard to listen to you read if you donā€™t have any opportunity to at home. Please note, only the top reader from each class will be entered and then it will be a draw between the top reader in 5K, 5T, 6C and 6H. Happy reading UKS2 #LovePlover

We will try again…

The weather forecast is currently looking good later this week, so we will aim to run our stargazing event on Thursday.

Children will need to bring a change of clothes (something comfy and warm) and may bring a blanket, pillow or both so they can get comfy whilst enjoying stories and exploring the night sky.

Can we please remind you that all pupils must be collected by an adult at 9:30pm from the gates by the school field.

There is still time to let us know if your child wants to join us for this event – just let us know by the close of school on Wednesday so we can buy enough burgers and sausages!

Keep everything crossed for us!

We understand why we critique

Discussing and critiquing each otherā€™s writing in pairs has helped us to realise the importance of it: to produce work of the highest possible standard. We have practised being specific with our choice of words and have tried to make sure that we have referred back to our learning targets.
