Thank you to our professional footballer expert- Alex Cairns!

A huge thank you to our expert Alex Cairns who plays for Fleetwood Town. He spoke to the 5/6’s about how important it is to eat healthy. He told his all about his footballing career and why he needs to exercise. He also told us how important it is to work hard in school and always have a plan b four our goals.
We are very grateful to Mr Meade for organising this for us and for Alex who gave up his time to inspire our children. Thank you both!

The football kit (shirt, shorts, socks) will be provided by school and they will get changed just before dinner.

Parent volunteers, thank you again for offering to transport children to and from the venue, can you please arrive at school for 12.40pm please.

Thanks

Mr Meade

We are Home Learning Superstars!

Well done to everyone who has worked hard to produce some super home learning! I cannot wait to see what other awesome work you will produce, 6H. Do not forget that you receive 10 crew coins for each piece that you submit.

Additional shout out to Alesha for her Covid-19 V’s Plague comparison. Your 3-D effect and artwork are fabulous!

If Home Learning is something that you try to avoid wherever possible, turn over that leaf and give some a go…the menu can be found on our summer expedition website.

Pass the Yellow T-Shirt forward…

This week, Lucie-Mai is our proud yellow T-Shirt winner.

Agrima, who won it the week before, kept her beady eyes open all week during the final week of last half term, looking for a classmate who she thought deserved the award. It didn’t take her long to spot Lucie who Agrima said the following about:

Lucie always tries her best and works incredibly hard all day, every day. If she doesn’t understand something, she will ask her friends or Mrs H for support if she cannot get smart herself using the different resources from around the room.

Well done Lucie-Mai 😁

We are Scientists

Year 5 have been looking at questionnaires filled in by imaginary patients and using the knowledge that they have to decide on the advice they should follow to make them better. They have been super doctors and have enjoyed leading their own learning #LovePlover
