Sorry for the late blog this evening. Just a quick one to say Year 6 need to be in school for normal school time tomorrow. They need to be in uniform and they require a packed lunch unless they have preordred one.
Thank you ☺️
Year 6 are raising funds for London and some of our lovely Year 6ās are running a chocolate bingo on Thursday 7th July- more details to follow.
Any donations of chocolate bars/ boxes of chocolates/ sweets would be greatly appreciated. Please take any donations to 6B. Thank you 💙

Year 5/6’s spent last Friday washing members of staff’s cars as part of our latest Expedition- why is important to look after ourselves and each other? The children have learnt all about how important it is to eat healthily. They decided to spend their money on a rage of healthy items to support our Plover community during these difficult times. Above is our donations from the children. Please remember to visit the Plover pantry every Thursday 9-10:30am which is a pay as you feel service allowing our Plover families to purchase foods to help them during these difficult times with the increased cost of living.

We are beginning to think ahead to next year and our Autumn Expedition in LKS2.
Do you know anybody (Grandparents, family members, friends or organisations) who would be willing to share their experiences of World War (at home or in the forces) with our children to help them with their learning?
If you know of anyone, please could you let Mrs Graves know, so that we can begin to plan ahead.
Thank you for your support,
Mrs Graves

We had the very enjoyable job last week, to critique mints, in preparation for the sweets we are going to design and make.
We found it very interesting how so many sweets with the same flavour – mint – could look and taste so differently from each other!

The launch date for our charity single is getting ever closer, and today we have been busy recording the video – like all good pop stars do!
Geoff came into school and recorded Year 3 and 4 singing the song. I was so impressed, as it has been a while since we last sang it – but it sounded fantastic.
I can’t wait for everyone to hear it and get the chance to buy/download it!

Today, in 2K we have been looking at 3D shapes. The children did a gallery walk around the classroom to look at all the different shapes and write down all the things they noticed about the 3D shapes.
Great work 2K!! #LovePlover
Well done Rydhian! Consistent hard word and creating beautiful work has made you our Pride of Plover for this week!
