Well done on line workers!

Well done 5K  – I can see a lot of you are online and have completing your learning. You have made me very proud of you. I have just been writing down your book bands for when we get back to school so you can have a reading book for in class. Keep going!

We love our new expedition!

More photos of my superstars during hook week! We are so excited to be learning about WWII! Please check in with your little historians to ask them what we have been learning about!

Sharing war memorabilia!

A huge shout out to Maison and his family for sharing his Dad’s war medals this morning in crew! We loved hearing all about them!
I am blown away by the amount of pictures and emails from parents and children to share their Doncaster war stories! Please keep them coming in so we can add them to our displays!

Fantastic settling in from Foundation 1!

Our children are now completely settled into our school routines in the setting. We have been extremely pleased with how the children enter the classroom independently. They are following our rules and routines to keep each other safe and have made lots of new friends. What a wonderful group of children who have begun school in difficult circumstances.

Mrs Renwick, Mrs Ibbertson and Mrs Melady are very proud of all of you! Well done!

Ask your children challenge!

We would love you to ask your children their classes question of the week! We know sometimes after a super busy day at school the children are sometimes too tired to tell you about everything they have done. So we hope this way will allow you to check in with your children and ask them specific questions linked to their learning to check their knowledge! Please see this week’s questions in the table above!

New expedition

4L have enjoyed their first lesson of introducing our expedition for this term. They were really shocked to discover some Roman artefacts left in our school grounds. They also took part in an archaeological dig to try and piece together and communicate their thoughts as to what the different artefacts were.

TEAM- Together Everyone Achieves More in Year 1M

Our Superstars continued to show their awesome personalities and characteristics last week. Working in teams to complete challenging activities, as well as spreading bundles of joy and kindness. 🙂

Year 1M have started this week amazingly well! They were buzzing about what had happened to our playground/classrooms over the weekend (I know some parents were too) and the children are thriving in their hook week activities!

Check out our KS1 video at the end of the week… it’s going to be ‘ROARsome’!

More hook week enthusiasm!

You are blowing me away Year 6 with your enthusiasm for our new expedition. Your efforts to immerse your learning environments are a fantastic example of being a crew! It’s fantastic to see so many smiling faces buzzing to learn about World War II. You are all little superstars! I’m so excited to reveal our classrooms on Friday once we have finished!

Well done – shout outs

I’d like to give a shout out to those children who are consistently working online – well done I know it is easy to sit and ignore the work that is set but it is important we do not miss any learning!
