Today F2 children have been practising their fine motor skills. It’s great to see the concentration on your faces. You’ve all taken great care in what you’ve produced, whether it’s been writing, drawing, threading or art work. Well done everyone!
We have had lots of photos of children making sandwiches, helping to make dinner and baking. Here is a selection.
Lyra made a fairy garden. She used different equipment and has sown grass seed. She is now waiting for the grass to grow.
Bobby found a stick that looked like a bow. He took it home and sanded it down to make it smooth. His Grandad tied some string on and it was ready. The next day Bobby looked for thin straight sticks to make arrows. They stripped the bark and his Grandad used a special knife to shape them. His mummy said to look for some feathers to make it fly better. Bobby’s Grandad made a target and showed Bobby how to fire it. They made sure no one got in the way and used it safely.
Yesterday’s challenge was to create an Easter chick.
These are some of our examples.
F2 children have had another very productive day. Well done to all those children who have started to create their Easter garden. It’s been great to see some of your videos today. It’s been like being back at school, listening to your singing and counting and watching your dancing. You can add your videos to evidence me in the same way that you add your photos.
Mia has also been practising her reading.
