After editing and improving their excellent information texts, the children worked on their reading and spelling skills by accessing classroom resources quietly. A great example of using initiative and leading your own learning – lovely to see!

We can order numbers
Kason, Rafia and Seb have been working together to order numbers to 20. Oh the fun I had swapping them around and turning digits upside down to challenge them to correct my silliness! Well done folks. You did great!

One Million Words
Wow, wow, wow! Well done to everyone in my Reading group, you have all worked so hard and together you have managed to read one million words over the last term!
The children have worked so hard to develop their fluency, comprehension and inference skills and they have been enjoying using our Reading Plus platform. As you can see, they were so pleased to meet their goal!
Well done to all of you, you are all superstars!

F1 Faith Day – Diwali
Today we have revisited Diwali for our sticky knowledge, as part of faith day. We used cooours and blocks to create rangoli patterns, and looked at our floor book to discuss the diva lamps we made in Autumn term. We also watched a video showing Diwali celebrations.

Expressive Arts
This week we have been learning to remember a sequence of movements, relating to music. We learnt a dance to Under The Sea, and practised counting our movements in groups of 4, and then 8. Look how fantastic our little dancers were!
