This weeks pride of Plover has gone to Hilihang. Although Hilihang hasnāt been at Plover for long, he has been a wonderful addition to the school. He is always working hard, getting smart and being kind. Miss Wood and I have also been very impressed with his amazing maths work.

Emma was chosen for her kindness and her coaching. She has been explaining learning, praising children and challenging them further.
Kusang was chosen for his conversations with other children especially how he is using lots of words when speaking to grown-ups.

This week’s award goes to Casey. Casey always does her best and loves learning. This week she has worked especially hard in maths and has shown some great reasoning skills. Not only is she great at estimating but she can explain how she has grouped objects visually to arrive at her estimate. Well done Casey!
