Mrs Bubb has loved teaching her new phonics group this week. They all know their set 1 single sounds and they can read words using them! They are even beginning to spell words! What a great start to this half term! #loveplover

Exploring Autumn

We had a lovely time learning about Autumn today. We learnt the word hibernate and what happens to some animals as they prepare for Winter. The children collected leaves and made hedgehogs and leaf people. We also went on an Autumn walk, looking at the changing colours. We enjoyed crunching the leaves too.

Bonfire Themed PE

Playing bonfire and firework games in PE. We moved like fireworks, we played firework tag. We learnt to balance cones on different body parts. We learnt to throw and catch a bib in different ways.

No Room for Racism

Today we wore red. To educate ourselves and the community to say no to racism! We are all humans, we may have different colour skin, come from different cultures, speak different languages… but we all have a heart! We all can and should spread kindness to everyone, as we are all humans! #LovePlover

F2BP Diwali Dancing

What a fantastic morning. Mrs Bubb was so very proud of F2BP today. They were so polite and listened to our Expert Visitor, Lucy, tell us about Diwali. They worked so hard following the dance steps to complete the routine. They used their manners when picking their smart clothes. Mrs Bubb knows when Lucy talks about them, she will have great things to say. #loveplover

Congratulations to this week’s Pride of Plover winners. We heard a lot about respect this week, which was the character trait that was being focused on. It was brilliant to hear how our winners showed respect in many different ways – to their friends, to adults and even to the learning! Well done, everyone!
