F2BP had lost of fun exploring number day. They learnt new games, made racing car tracks with numbers on and spoke about the numbers that they were wearing.

A lovely local walk..
Today, we followed our maps around our local area. We turned right, crossed the road, past the shops, along to the roundabout, turned left and left again, past the church, left at the end, past the post office, over the road, back past the shops and around the corner back to school. We spotted different buildings, we counted, we waddled like penguins…we had a really lovely morning! Thank you to all the grown-ups who came to help.
Plover Maps It Out!
We read Martha Maps It Out in expedition. This allowed us to share our background knowledge of maps. We then looked at our local community on Google maps and created our own provision map. We practised the route that we will follow tomorrow on our fieldwork study. Outside children created their own obstacle courses, maps and vehicles! #LovePlover

Student Led Conferences
Our children would like to invite you to attend their Student-Led Conferences (SLCs), which will take place during the first two weeks of January. The conferences are scheduled for Thursday 8th, Tuesday 13th, and Thursday 15th January, with appointments available between 3.30pm and 6.00pm.

During the conference, your child will share and discuss their learning and HoWLS from the Autumn term.

Thank you to all our friends at Intake Wellness Centre. They have been involved in our expedition and have helped us with our learning. Some of the staff came to the nativity this morning and we were able to present them with a frame of photos from our celebration of learning. All the children added their finger prints.

Crew Meade Generosity
Thank you to all the children and families in F2M who have kindly donated lots of gifts, toys, food, drinks and beauty products for our Xmas fayre and various community charities! Lots of children will definitely be on Santa’s good list and some children have enjoyed posting their letters to Santa. #LovePlover
Presentation of Learning Products
On Friday we invited some kind people from Intake Wellness Centre and Open the Book church community to our presentation of learning party.
We decorated ours and the special guests cupcakes with icing and sprinkles. We spoke, sang and danced to celebrate our expedition. Our final products included party hats, cup cakes, cupcakes boxes and a photo frame, record by all of EYFS! #LovePlover
