Good morning 6B!

Good morning my lovely lot! I can’t wait to hear from you all today and mark your awesome home learning! Please remember to check in using our daily check in between 8:30 and 9:30! All your work has been added to google classroom! I am missing you all, stay safe!

Awesome home learning!

How fabulous are these snippets of work from our fabulous years 5/6 children. They have made such a fantastic effort of creating a chapter about my little pugs. I need to give a further shout out for Lucas, as he knows my pugs so well (he clearly listens to me in class) he has captured their personality in his chapters so well! Well done everyone! Please keep it up everyone!

Friday 27th March

Good morning 6H,

I hope you are okay – I’ve not heard from all of you this week and this has made me worry about some you.  You may have recieved a phone call from one of the five/six team yesterday reminding you to try and access the online learning – please try your best to do so.

Even though school has only been closed for a week, it feels like a lifetime since I saw you all and I miss each and every single one of you.

Have any of you added a rainbow to your windows to show support for each other and that we are all in this toegether?  I know Charlie L in 6B has – how thoughtful!

Last night was a surreal expercience – there was so much noise created by the people in my village when we all joined in with the ‘Clap for the NHS Staff’ at 8pm.

I look forward to reading your explanations of the phases of the moon.  Remember: if you are finding this challenging, there are lots of helpful videos on youtube and accounts to read online – just make sure you select ones appropriate for your age and that you do not copy and paste material.

Have a fab day and keep smiling.

Mrs H 🙂

Fabulous Friday

it’s the end of a very strange week and things don’t feel the same as they normally do. Well done to all those children who have gotten on line and submitted work. I know it has been difficult as most of you are not used to typing on a key board so Friday will be ‘mopping up day’. I will set a comprehension which is not too long which will give you extra time to finish off all the literacy typing tasks.

Please make sure you have a go at all the tasks and complete them fully. Can you score 100/100??

Well done and a shout out for Oliver M, Lacey, Lacie and Marley  for their maths work. Another big shout out to Oliver H for a great letter from the dungeon master who was full of complaints!

Well done mums and dads too for helping and supporting your children in their learning.

Shout out to Charlie & Blaze!

I am overwhelmed by the amount of years 5&6 children who have written a chapter about ‘Sven & Buzz-the mischievous pugs’. I have enjoyed reading them so much tonight! A special shout out to Blaze and Charlie for such fantastic detail within their chapters! If anyone else would like to share their chapter, I’m going to display them for our return to school! I will be sharing the chapters with everyone tomorrow afternoon- so please come back and check out the blog!

Shout out for working hard!

Well done 5K – you are working hard even though I am not there to nag you! Well done Lacie B for the quality writing she has sent me. She is producing the same quality and length of work as she does in class and has not decided to be lazy! Well done Marsels on improving your  literacy but I am sure you can write more!!

Keep going 5K and check in with me every day. I love to read your critique of the day too – Luke, your critique made me smile 🙂
