Miss Blackham Needs You

Hi guys,

Miss Blackham and the 5/6 staff need your help!  We have not had many exercise videos come through as yet.  It would be marvellous if you could send us a photograph or video of yourself and/or any of your household doing some form of exercise.  Remember this doesn’t have to be anything to vigorous – playing outside can be exercise too.  Come on join in, I think you will agree the Feel good Friday videos are brilliant to watch, it’s fabulous to be able to see each other when we are not in school – and it will only take a few seconds out of your day (yes we’re begging now!)

Thanks in advance guys

Mrs H 🙂

Superstars!

Ruby, Lucas, Romio and Luke have produced some awesome expedition work regarding their Greek Gods and the islands they would live on. I love reading your ideas! Blaze has created this amazing picture to remember his class mates as a keepsake and I love it! I’m going to print it out and put it on my desk!
Well done everyone, keep working hard and remember to send your exercise videos in to me by 3pm tomorrow.

Tuesday 12th May

Good morning everyone,

Everything you require for today’s learning is posted in our classroom.  Please remember that if you have any questions at all, you can email me and I will do my absolute best to respond as quickly as I can (within school hours, anyway).

It is great to see a couple of names on our check in sheet that we haven’t seen in a while so thank you and please carry on.  If you are not checking in until much later on in the day, can I ask that you do this as soon as you can please?  This way I can make sure that my data is accurate for Mrs Ogle.

Have a great day everyone – the wind seems to have died down a little today so we may feel a little more warmth from the sun.

Lots to celebrate!

Look at these superstars who have been busy bees again! Ruby, Luke and Liam have produced some awesome expedition work and Charlie has competed some amazing maths! Then we have a little superstar from fs1 who has been busy celebrating VE Day! Keep those photos coming in!

Remember I need your excercise videos by 3pm on Thursday to be featured in this weeks feel good Friday!

Exercising picture!

Miss Blackham would like a picture of you exercising this week and I know a lot of you [including Lacey J] were busy exercising with Joe Wicks so send us a picture please!

In our house we are dog walking and I too have been exercising with Joe [although he’s far too jumpy for my old knees]. Look out for my picture – hopefully I will end up in the video. I also have a video of Miss Brogan exercising with a ribbon so maybe I’ll send that in as a surprise for her!!

Monday 11th May

Good morning 6H,

If you feel anything like me this morning, you’re probably a little all over the place.  For those of you who haven’t remembered, today would have been the first of your real SATs exams.  I know there are a few of you who are relieved that they are not going ahead but I am also perfectly aware that many of you – the majority of you – are incredibly disappointed because you wanted to challenge yourselves and show everyone how hard you have worked to make progress over your primary years.

Please know this 6H…you are all superstars!  You have all made me (and your previous teachers) super proud over the time we have spent together and…to be honest I’m at a bit of a loss for words and that says it all as you know I can use a million words when only ten are actually needed!

I look forward to June when we may be able to see each other again to give you all the end of year celebrations that you so clearly deserve.

Keep smiling and be proud to be Plover – I know I am!

To our year 6’s

Dear year 6,

This week you should have been sitting your SATs but as we experience uncertain times, this week is going to be a little different to every other year before it (some of you may be pleased haha) but deep down we all know you have worked so hard your whole primary school life towards these and although they are not everything, we know how much you wanted to sit them to prove to yourselves and the world just how much you have learnt.

I just want to let you know, that as we wake up this morning in these very strange times, I couldn’t be any prouder of you and no score on any paper could come close to the feeling of pride you have given me and the fellow year 6 team and the entire Plover community. You have coped so well being off school, not being able to see your family and friends. You have worked hard at home whether that be on google classrooms or experiencing other learning activities with your families and it has certainly shown us (even though we already knew) how amazing you all truly are. We know you’ll go up to secondary school as the fabulous students of Plover Primary School that we know you all are and with the results you deserve. So stand proud this week, smile and remember you are all amazing, you are all wonderful and so, so special. We really do hope to see you all soon for the leaving celebrations you deserve! #wearecrew💙

Esmae is enjoying the weather.

Esmae has been enjoying the sun and has been moving at quite a good pace around the garden. I let her out yesterday and she dragged a piece of slate out which she then tried to eat! Keep completing the work set and working hard Year 5.
