We have caught the Science bug here in 5T and we just can’t stop experimenting. Today, with Miss Telford, Year 5 have been investigating variables when dissolving sugar. They have been looking at how the temperature of the water affects how quickly the sugar dissolves. Take a look at our experiment in the pictures below! #LovePlover

Raising money for the charity 52 lives 💜

In crew in years 5&6 we have been learning about all the amazing work the charity 52 lives carries out. We have decided to give back to them by raising money to give towards their work. On the 15th October children in 5/6 will complete acts of kindness in and around our community. The children can come dressed in purple, red or blue and any donations would be hugely appreciated!

5T have had a really fun afternoon learning all about dissolving! We have learned some new words. Can you tell your adult what any of the following words mean? Dissolve, solute, solvent, soluble, insoluble and solution! #LovePlover
