The outdoor learning group have been looking for signs of life in the winter. You’d be amazed how many minibeasts we found despite the cold.
What better way to warm up after than smores and hot chocolate around a fire!

Thank you to all our children and parents in 1M for your generous donations for the Christmas hampers! We have managed to fill 3 hampers, which I think is the most throughout school.
I will get the children a nice treat next Friday, to say thank you for your kind contributions 🙌🏽
Have a great weekend 1M.

All Year 1 Crews (Crew Meade, Crew Newton and Crew Jobber) absolutely loved yesterdays pantomime ‘Aladdin’ at CAST! You guys were all amazing! #LovePlover
Year 1 have been Santa’s little elves and made him a fruit salad full of healthy fruits so he has the energy to deliver all the presents! Children then wrote a list of the fruits they wanted to be in Santa’s fruit salad. #LovePlover
Some children in KS1 chose to watch Home Alone whilst enjoying their hot dogs, buns and juice!
Thank you grown ups for your continued support and contributions. 🙌🏼🎅🏽🧑🏼🎄

Well done to Anna, Atlas, Aland, Ralph and Oscar who have been working hard, getting smart and being kind whilst doing their learning assessments this week! #LovePlover
I’ve loved the excitement this morning! Lot’s of you have had some special visitors over night and Father Christmas even sent class 2B an important delivery! We found a letter addressed to us with some notes and a tong so we can handle the elf without him loosing his magical powers. I wonder what he’ll do when Mr Taylor closes up school and all the teachers have gone home? We’ve had a very festive day today, elf excitement in the morning and rehearsing for our Christmas play this afternoon.
Raffle tickets are available to buy for our colourful class hampers. They are £1 a strip and need to be returned by 9th December. Please see me or Mrs Abbiss if you would like to buy one.
See you all tomorrow!

Class 1N were so excited to see the mischievous elf. We have named her Snowy. She is in our class to keep a close check on 1N and to ensure that children are following the Plover pledge. Snowy has told them that she will be reporting back to Santa.
We all thanked Snowy because she brought some sweet treats for everyone!
Who knows what she will be up to during the night!
