We are scientists

6L have been investigating whether the Earth is spherical or flat and what makes it spherical. They gathered their evidence in preparation to debate their argument.

UKS2 autumn raffle

Year 5&6 pupils are raffling a stunning autumn wreath to raise funds for our phase. If you would like to purchase a ticket, they will be on sale until the 14th October at £1 a strip and you can buy them from 6B (Miss Blackham). Thank you for your continued support. Please feel free to share with family and friends. You can also opt for a more generic wreath design should you wish to keep it up all year around 🙂

‘Phases of the Moon’ Oreo fun!

6B had a great time using Oreos to create the different phases of the Moon. After doing research and creating their scripts in groups, the children organised their Oreo’s to create each phase. We then recorded their presentations ready for their final product at the Science Fair. They even got to eat them when we’d finished.

Times Table Rockstars

A big well done to Crew Myers for coming first on the TTRockstars leaderboard this week. Two weeks in a row, keep it up Crew Myers!

Well done to Sumit, Houma, Modish, Rydhian, Rahand and Sri for being our top players last week.

Leading our own learning in 6B!

These superstars have been smashing it and I am so, so proud of them! They have been using additional maths resources and videos on our Year 6 maths site to lead their own learning this week. They have been working hard to reflect on their own learning and identify their next steps to ensure they are secure.

Keep it up you lovely lot!
