The children have been busy making their Christmas cards and calendars for their families! #LovePlover
This week the children have made some festive Christmas decorations for their own Christmas trees! They’ve used their painting skills, cutting skills, glueing skills and creative skills. #LovePlover
After a busy term of learning, the children in 2L enjoyed sharing their learning with parents and carers last week. The children were the experts, teaching their grown ups all about our expedition, Rags to Riches, What Lies Within the Castle Walls? The children and parents did a quiz and then built catapults before testing them out.
We’d like to thank all the parents and carers who joined us for our celebration of learning and we look forward to having you back to join us for our next celebration of learning.

Year 5 & 6 had a Christmas dance off this morning as we rehearsed for carols around the tree. Our lovely Mia was crowned the champion! Here she is showing her prize!

Yesterday, Y6 had lots of fun at our candy cane olympics. They had to build towers out of marshmallows only using the candy canes- not their hands. They had to demonstrate team-building skills to be successful and they had so much fun!

Year 2 had an unexpected visit from the Grinch this afternoon. It caused a lot of excitement and also made some children reflect on which list they might be on for Christmas! It seemed that we might all be on the good list!

2P had a class full of grown-ups for our celebration of learning. We shared our favourite parts from the expedition and then completed our quiz, whilst sharing our learning with our adults. Finally, we became the experts and taught our grown-ups how to make a simple wooden catapult. It was a lovely afternoon! Thank you to everyone who came.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this afternoon at Harvest Fields Church in Intake for our Christmas Celebration.
A big thank you to Pastor Andrew Golba and the congregation of the church who supported us in the preparation and delivery of the celebration – it was lovely to celebrate in the community.
Well done to all the children who took the time to learn their lines, practised moving in style or sang beautifully – you made us all very proud.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year.
