Healthy Eating Week

Today is Day 1 of Healthy Eating Week.

We started the day by thinking about how healthy we are and then had a special assembly from the British Nutrition Foundation that taught us about the key things to do:

  • Eat 5 a day fruit and vegetable
  • drink 6-8 glasses of water (or milk)
  • eat lots of fibre with whole grain
  • exercise or be active for an hour a day
  • chouse healthy options of food.

Children have their own tracker this week to record how healthy they are.

This morning/afternoon, thanks to Ethanā€™s mum, Mrs Kibble, we are tasting different fruits to find out what is our favourite.
