Thursday 26th March

Good morning,

It’s another beautiful day which always helps keep the spirits high.

There have been quite a few of you interacting with our online classroom which really pleases me and the work you have been submitting is certainlly keeping me very busy.  I have noticed however that many of you have not checked in on a daily basis, nor have you been using Google Classroom.  Please try your best to do so.

I look forward to receiving more fabulous work from you today.

Remember to check Miss Blackham’s blog out for our daily challenge.

Keep working hard

Mrs H

Morning 5/6! Your next challenge is…

Today, your teachers will be phoning you to see if you are all ok and to ask if we can support you further in any way-I can’t wait to hear from your teachers with how you are all getting on.
Your challenge today (in addition to your usual maths, literacy and expedition) is to write a chapter for my book ‘Sven and Buzz the mischievous Pugs’. You can be as creative as you wish, you can draw pictures to go along with your chapter etc. I’ll give you some context, they always go on their mischievous adventures when I’m teaching! I can’t wait to read your work to my pugs- they love listening! Please email your work to me!  There will be a ‘dip in the box’ from my treat box on your return to school for everyone who gets involved!

Super work form years 5/6

Shout outs to Ruby, Christians,Marcels, Blaze and Charlie for sending me some of their awesome home learning. On our return to school, you can each have three shop credits! I love looking at your work. I can’t wait to see who completes the rap challenge tomorrow. I am writing mine as we speak ready to share in the morning! Keep up the hard work and please keep sharing it with me!

Wednesday 25th March

Good morning 6H,

Well, it’s certainly another beautiful morning.  If you can, try and steal a few minutes or so outside in the sun – in the confinment of your own gardens of course.  It’s amazing how just ten minutes of sunshine on your skin can enhance your mood.

Another way to stay happy is to excercise.  Exercise releases endorphines from your brain around your body.  These are a kind of hormone which help your body in so many different ways – including feeling brighter and more cheery.  Joe Wicks will be on YubeTube at 9am to help you stay fit.

Once again I look forward to being sent your work and will be online all day to help with any questions you may have.

In addition to all of this, Miss Blackham will be posting a daily challenge – check her blog out for more details.

Shout Out Time!

Shout out to Kyren today!  He tried so hard to access his learning from home for the first time but sadly came up against a number of road blocks.  These did not stop him though.  He solved his own problems and sent me his work.

Well done Kyren – I’m so proud of you.

Another busy day online

Well done to everyone who has persevered online today.  I appologise for the problems we ecountered with today’s reading comprehension but wanted to thank you all for bearing with me whilst I tried (but failed) to reslove the problems.

Please remember to check in daily so that I know how you are all doing.  If you hear from your friends via other routes (online gaming etc) please can you remind eacher other to check in daily?  Thanks guys.

Speak to you again in the morning.

Mrs H 🙂

How to complete work on Google Classroom

Hi guys, things have been a little bizzare this morning in relation to you emailing me your work rather than submitting it through google classroom.

Here is a link  about how to use Google Classroom effectively.

Good moring everyone,

How nice is it to have the sun shining?

Today’s learning is live on google classroom and I look forward to reading, marking and returning your work to you – hopefully I’ll be more effective than yesterday now I understand the system a little more.

Please dont forget to check in ASAP and critique your day later on.  The critique slip should appear in our google classroom at 2.45pm.
