What a proud moment we have had this morning, seeing this group of 5/6 children confidently showing around the Mayoress of Doncaster! The children were so proud of their learning and their school and the Mayoress was so impressed!
Super Susie has blown me away with a fantastic piece of artwork! Her art skills are so impressive!
Lovely Liam has blown me away with his fantastic attitude to learning, he has worked so hard describing the character Liam from the book cosmic! Well done to both of you! £50 class cash each!
We are continuing to enhance our learning environment by making 3D planets using papier-mâché! Look back at our blog later in the week to see our finished results!
A huge well done to the above children who have read 50 times and have won a meal at Nandos! The children will be joining Mrs Ogle on Friday at 11:30 to enjoy their treat! Well done to everyone who has read at home, us teachers can see the impact and we encourage you to keep it up! Our next incentive starts on Monday and the reward will be a pizza making party at the end of Spring term at Pizza Express!
The rules are, children must read to someone and have a signature in their reading records or on paper. Only one signature a day counts and if children are struggling to read to an adult at home, they can read to their teacher during break/dinner to count towards their signatures! The first children to read 50 times will be given a place! We have more places on the next reward so all is to play for! Let’s keep up the reading 5/6!
6B have had a very busy morning enhancing our learning environment. They were so impressed by our blow up solar system, they wanted to create their own! Here they are busy at work!
A huge well done to these two super stars who won an award at their dance school last week! The rest of year 6 loved hearing about why they won their award and we are so very proud of Maddy and Susie! Well done girls and keep it up!
Welcome back! I have a very refreshed and energetic class ready to get started this term! 6B are starting their new term discussing our new theme title ‘Is there anybody out there?’
I have heard some fantastic ideas and discussions as well as some really interesting questions they would like answering by the end of the term! I think this is going to be a really awesome expedition!

6B have had so much fun today. They started the morning at the school shop. Then, they watched a Christmas film with milkshakes and hot chocolates! We finished the day with our Christmas party! Thank you to everyone who contributed food and drinks to our party- the children had lots of fun (especially on just dance) and are now very full!
Don’t forget its our Christmas fayre tomorrow- we hope to see lots of you there!
