Awesome coaching in maths!

6B have shown fantastic learning behaviours today when finding missing angles. They have shown great resilience and have been fantastic coaches. We have been working really hard on ensuring we don’t just give our classmates the answers when working collaboratively and we in fact question and challenge our friends’ thinking! I am so proud of their efforts and progress today! Well done 6B!

Identifying features!

Fantastic collaboration this morning picking apart our WAGOLL newspaper report. We have identified the features and we are displaying them in our classrooms to help us with our writing!

Read theory!

Good morning, over the past few weeks, children in Year 6 have been accessing read theory and they are really enjoying it. We want to encourage them to continue to work on this at home. From next week, we will be tracking the amount of quizzes and the time they have spent on it. Prizes will be awarded!
Lets get reading!

Deep in thought!

This morning, 6B have been looking at a newspaper report on astronauts visiting the moon. They were identifying features and picking out key vocabulary before exploring it and adding it to our expedition wall. Some great discussions this morning, well done!

Parents evening

All those who have returned their slips with preferred times, I have tried my best to get the closet time possible to your requests. I have sent your times home with your children today. Please can I ask anyone who hasn’t returned their slips, to do so ASAP so I can try my best to accommodate your times.

Thank you and enjoy your weekend!
