Pride of Plover

This week our Pride of Plover winners are Ollie and Kara. We are so pleased with the personal progress both of these children have made. Ollie is beginning to engage with activities and his speech is developing. Kara is always a kind friend and has become much more confident to access things in school independently. Kara has also worked hard on her letter formation. Keep it up super stars!

So proud of this superstar! ⭐️

Talliah has produced an amazing anchor chart on the back of her academic pledge this week. She was determined to smash adding and subtracting decimals and so this anchor chart will really support her during her revision!

Well done you superstar! 10 crew coins for beautiful work!

Goldilocks Dance

Today we used our head to think of actions and movements to tell the beginning of our Goldilocks story. We moved our bodies to carry out our ideas and we used our hearts to think about how Goldilocks was feeling in our story. We hope you enjoy the beginning of our dance story of Goldilocks.

Amazing home learning!

So proud of these superstars who went home last night and consolidated their maths learning! They are absolutely smashing it right now! They are the first children to receive 10 crew coins and they will be able to use these crew coins to spend at our school shop at the end of the term- how exciting!

So proud of this lovely lot for coming to boosters!

I am so proud of all these children who attended boosters again this morning. We had a fabulous pre-teach session where we looked at adding and subtracting decimals.

Please keep it up and keep attending- I can almost smell your prize of a McDonald’s breakfast! 🙂

New EYFS outdoor area

As a team we have been looking at refurbishing the EYFS outdoor area. We have had a design created which looks amazing. We need to raise funds for this through grants and funding bids. If you know of an organisation or company that could support us with this please let us know. We need to raise £62,000.

Many thanks

Flower Mediums

This afternoon we explored using different mediums to do some flower art work, as practice for our final product this week. We used colouring pencils, water colours, ready mix paint, felt tips. #LovePlover

Year 5 litter picking- tomorrow afternoon

Just a reminder that Year 5 children will be engaging in acts of service tomorrow in our community and they will be joining local council workers to litter pick around Intake. This it to promote the importance of looking after our community.

Children will need a coat. If you haven’t given your permission slip to your class teacher already, please ensure you do tomorrow.
