Time to read Tuesdaysā€¦

In crew on Tuesdays, we take a reading focus. I canā€™t think of anything better than finding a good book and getting completely lost in the story which could take you to anywhere in your imagination. This week, we looked at a childrenā€™s magazine with a variety of different stories in it. We scanned through the magazine to find something that caught our eye and then explained to each other what our attention was grabbed by and why.

We can listen carefully

Our crew challenge taught us a lot on Monday morning. We had to listen carefully to the instructions our partner gave us and attempt to draw exactly what was described to us. We learnt that the instructions we give must be incredibly specific; not too long; and that they should also be spoken clearly so that our partner can hear us.

Well done to my Magic Breakfast team too – bagels toasted to perfection. Well done and thank you, ladies.

Creative, Kind and Generous

A huge, huge appreciation and thank you from 1M, Plover school and Mrs Ogle for Maria! We were all so touched at the generous Ā£110 donation Maria has raised from auctioning off her beautiful art work from last expedition, for school funds towards helping animals at our school! #LovePlover

Blue crew are the crew coin winners!

As blue crew were last half termā€™s crew coin winners, they have been able to enjoy some time on a giant inflatable provided by Scottyā€™s heroes! Here are some snaps of the blew crew from UKS2. They had so much fun!

Big Talk

Children learnt and reinforced their understanding of keeping safe and knowing the importance of their personal privacy.

Comic Relief Fun in Crew

We told jokes, made a rap and did some silly faces on Friday. Well done to our reading superstars Kaya, Lacey and Weronika. Thank you Peyton and Esme for watering the plants in our Eco-garden! #LovePlover
