Could there be storms?

The weather sounds exciting today – there could be thunder and lightning! I will be keeping a close eye on it and be ready to run back into school if the heavens open! I’m not so keen on the thunder part but I do like to see the lightning as it strikes.

Working at home

Good morning Year 5/6, if any of you are having trouble accessing learning online, please contact me on [email protected] or phone the school office and we will arrange some further work packs for your children!

All work which is added online is printed weekly for collection for your children to access along with other fun and purposeful activities. There are daily maths, literacy and expedition slides online as well as art work opportunities and coding activities.

From today, every child who submits a piece of work (this can be online, on paper, sending your teacher pictures of what you are up to as we appreciate there are lots of ways to learn at home and it doesn’t have to be pictures of your work set by us or by joining in class hangouts etc) will have their name put into a hat and we will draw three weekly winners for a special prize to be delivered to you!

A huge well done to all of you who are submitting work and sharing pictures of what you are up to, we miss you all very much and can’t wait to see you again! Keep shining and we will see you soon!

It’s quiz day!

Morning you lovely lot! Year 6 your quiz is today at 10am, year 5 your quiz is at 11am, remember to pop me an email if you want to join so I can send you an invite- [email protected]

On another exciting note, tune into Trax FM this week to hear some of your school friends telling jokes! They should be on every morning!

Finally, a huge well done to everyone who is submitting work online and by paper, we are so proud of you! Keep sending your photos in so we can share it our blogs! Shout out to Ruby for her awesome maths work pictures below!

What a lovely surprise!

it was lovely weather today and we had a lovely day in my Key Worker group. We had a celebration of Theo’s birthday [there was a lot less claps to do compared to Year 5 birthdays] and Danir came into see me about some work. It was lovely to see someone from 5K as I do miss you all!!

Pride of Plover

Pride of Plover this week is Maison Jobber who has been working hard in school to catch up on everything he has missed. Lovely to see you Maison as I was starting to worry about you!

All  the reports are completed and are ready to be checked – go me! I hope you are all keeping up to date with your learning. Please let me know if you want me to go over anything.
