Good Morning
I hope you are all well.
Thank you for continuing to hand in your work online. You seem to be getting more confident.
Shout out to Sienna, who has sent me some great photos. She is really proud about her learning!
Today, you will be describing some characters, and designing new chocolate bars – I can’t wait to see them!
Don’t forget to go on Times Tables Rock Stars and Read Theory/Epic Reading.
Keep on touch!

Good Morning All,
The weather looks lovely again so make sure you get some time in your garden if you can.
I’m just about to do a Mind Yeti to wake myself up – I have chosen ‘Hello Body’. You could do it too from http://Www.mindyeti.com
I had lots of work completed yesterday – I am really enjoying reading your work. Today you will be continuing working on time in maths, writing about Charlie Bucket in English and classifying materials in expedition – there’s a video for you to watch to help!
Remember Joe Wicks at 9 on YouTube and please, please, please complete the feelings chart by 9:30 – don’t forget to click hand in when you have done it on the assignment page.
Have a good day, keep safe and wash your hands!

An extra shout out for Lola who has been using her creativity today to create Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Room in Lego!
How impressive is this……
Well done Lola – I love it!
I wonder what other rooms could be created in Lego?
Mrs Graves
A big well done to Matias and Bethannie. You have completed LOADS of work today – my email has been pinging like mad with all the notifications – great effort guys, keep it up!
I also wanted to give a shout out to Mohamad for an excellent piece of writing describing the Nut Room – I liked it so much I thought you might like to read it – so here it is…..
The room was gigantic with white and blue swirls. There were hundreds of amazing, trained, squirrels cracking nuts and throwing them all about.
Every squirrel was busy cracking the hard skinned nuts that they only can crack.
The strong smell of nuts was spreading in every inch of the fabulous room.
The lights were dazzling, sparkling, like the stars in the sky. However, it is extremely dark inside so they need the powerful lights to not make it dark
The noise of the nuts was penetrating the silent room.Although there were a lot of squirrels, there were also some people .No one could believe how loud the sound was.
Well done all of you for continuing to complete your work and well done the the grown ups at home who have been supporting you -you are doing a great job!!!
Please remember to complete the feelings chart and click the hand in button – thank you!!!!
Hi Everyone,
Please remember to go back into the assignment page when you have finished working on a piece of work and clicking the blue ‘hand in’ button, so that I know you have finished it.
Check the last page of the step-by-step guide
Good Morning All!
And what a gorgeous morning it is!
Thank you to all of you that submitted work yesterday. It has been fantastic seeing how you are getting used to Google Classroom – it is all so new for ALL of us – but what a great skill we will all have for the future!
Thank you for logging on to the Feelings Check-in at the start of the day – it is lovely to be able to continue our Morning Circle time together and it is nice to have that bit of routine when everything is so different at the moment.
Look at last night’s post – well done to all those who got a shout out – to add to the list was Kiera and Bethannie who completed work too.
Did you do Joe Wicks yesterday morning on YouTube? 800 000 children did apparently! Make sure you get logged on this morning at 9am for an early morning workout!
I have put an English reading comprehension on to Google Classroom along with the usual Maths Fluent in 5 and Maths Meeting. The Maths main learning is continuing with time. You are going to be scientists for Expedition, with a what I know quiz to complete first and then a video to watch and then another quiz and an exit ticket.
Enjoy your day – have a go at something crafty too and how about playing a board game?
Mrs Graves
