On behalf of KS1 staff we would like to praise all children for their enthusiasm, hard work, knowledge and creativity during this whole expedition – you have been awesome!
The children completed their presentation of learning speeches last Thursday which conclude this video and launch our final product posters and postcards which will go public in the New Year! To share their appreciations and state their pledges to becoming a hero within our community!

WOW WOW WOW!!!!! A very talented musician at Plover kick started our KS1 Christmas party.
We had a true and very talented superstar in KS1 who wished to play some Christmas songs on his guitar to all of KS1. Atlas, YOU were absolutely fantastic! We were all blown away! You showed courage, talent and confidence and you should be so very proud of yourself! Congratulations and a huge well done Atlas! #loveplover.

Hedgehogs
Last week we were learning about hedgehogs and hibernation. We made some lovely, leafy hedgehog homes then made our own hedgehogs with clay and natural objects. I’m sure you’ll agree they look amazing!
We also learnt that hedgehogs are at threat of becoming endangered. Have you thought about making your own garden hedgehog friendly? Maybe you could add a little hope in your fence to let them travel through. They should be hibernating by now, so if you see one, don’t disturb it and leave it a little food. Cat food is great but never milk!
