Fantastic efforts and beautiful crowns made by 1M children and we have a very special visitor choosing the winners this afternoon… good luck! 🙌🏽

Just a reminder that tomorrow children can come dressed in red, white and blue or as kings and queens for the jubilee picnic! Parents can come and join in the afternoon at 1.30pm… if not send your child with consent for face paints and money to buy things at the stalls! #LovePlover

School Back in the Olden Days in KS1
Straight away children noticed our classroom was “dark and different”. We immersed the children by creating a setting of what teaching and school was like in the past (there were a few tears but as a class crew we spoke about how it made people feel and why and made each other feel better!)🤗 They then wrote a diary to recount their “strict, old fashioned lesson”.
The children thoroughly enjoyed it and were fantastic at comparing how opposite teaching and learning is now, certainly at Plover!

KS1 trip
The children in Crew Meade and Crew Abbiss today have been amazing! We have done lots of walking and exploring so I am sure they’ll sleep tonight… I know I will!
We enjoyed competing a scavenger hunt around the rail museum, exploring different artefacts about the history of Doncaster as well as visiting two different place of worship!
Thank you to parents for your continued support and a big shout out to the parent helpers today!
