In crew this morning one of our members was a bit upset that his sister in nursery was only at school half a day for her birthday. So we made him smile and happy by making birthday cards, which he can give to his sister after school! #LovePlover

We have been discovering more about the past of Plover using artefacts as primary sources!

Our expedition is entitled: Diverse Doncaster, where do we belong? For our ‘do now’ task we looked at old photos and drawings of Doncaster throughout time. We love history!

We love to read in 2B! Sometimes it’s nice to enjoy a book alone but also it’s nice to share a book between friends! I sat with Bobby and Violet and we learnt a lot about space!

KS1 Family Learning Session

Good afternoon KS1 Crew

We hope you have all had a lovely half term and we can’t wait to see you all!

We have our family learning day a week on Tuesday 14th June at 1.30pm (see letter below which was sent out before half term).

We encourage all children to wear clothes of their choice to represent different cultures from around the world.

Finally, we ask for any parent volunteers/experts who would like to lead on one of the following activities:

  • Cooking
  • Singing & dancing
  • Dressing up/ making jewellery
  • Family art

Please let us know if you are interested in leading one of these by Friday 10th June.

Happy Half Term!

Happy half term 2B, hopefully we get some lovely weather to enjoy our bank holiday! Have fun and stay safe!

Congratulations to Elijah for receiving the yellow T-shirt! I will have to make sure to get a photo when we get back! And well done to Rahand for consistently getting 4’s in his HOWLs all week – you’ve won this weeks trophy! Who will win it next week?
