Hello Yellow – Supporting Young Minds

Why are Pirates called Pirates? Because they ARRRR! 🙂

On Friday our children embarked in activities to support, stimulate and educate their minds! It was amazing to see so many of our children wearing Yellow and spreading kindness, happiness and joy! #HelloYellow #SupportingYoungMinds #ChildrensMentalHealth #HealthBodyHealthMind #BeKind

Pride of Plover

We just wanted to say a massive well done to all of our Pride of Plover winners this week. They have shown excellent examples of how we work hard in our learning to help us to do our best and get smart. Well done to Harry, Shayen and Mia for having such a brilliant week!

Seed planting and sensory walk

In English this week we have followed and then written instructions about how to grow a plant (or will it be a dinosaur- who knows?)

We also used our 5 senses to explore and describe our playground setting, classroom setting and then our ‘small world’ dinosaur setting.

Top work superstars!

KS1 Plover Praise Yellow T-Shirt winners!

Congratulations to our KS1 Plover Praise and yellow t-shirt winners!

1M- Peyton for continuing to show a work hard, get smart and be kind attitude. This week she has gone the extra mile with her learning at home to learn more about sign language and research about dinosaurs. Well done Peyton!

1/2C- Lena for working hard in all her Maths, English and expedition learning this week. As well as showing great confidence and courage to work with other children. Keep it up Lena!

2P- Morris for showing some fantastic learning in maths. By not only deepening his own understanding but also supporting and helping others to develop their maths learning. Top work Morris!

Describing Dinosaurs and Humans

Today the superstars have been learning about adjectives. They have used adjectives to describe dinosaurs and humans. During our science expedition we have been comparing human body parts to dinosaur body parts!

Little Ellie velociraptor… medium Karlie-Rose pterodactyl … big Mitchell brachiosaurus

Beautiful Work in Y1/2C

We have had a fabulous start in our new class.  The children are really enjoying their Expedition work.  I’d like to give a ‘shout out ‘to Lena and Khongkwan for their illustrations. They imagined what the front cover would be to our new text.  Great work girls 👍
