Today we wore red. To educate ourselves and the community to say no to racism! We are all humans, we may have different colour skin, come from different cultures, speak different languages… but we all have a heart! We all can and should spread kindness to everyone, as we are all humans! #LovePlover

Making special places

In expedition today we learnt about special places including a temple. Some of the children made their own special places including their homes, the seaside and a temple.

Where do we live?

This week we have been looking at a place that is special to us; our homes. We went on a walk around the perimeter of the school to look at the different types of houses we could see. We learnt lots of big words such as: semi detached, bungalow, terrace and flats.

When we got back to the classroom we used our creative skills to paint pictures of our own house. There was some beautiful artwork!

Mental Health Day

For mental health awareness day we wore yellow. Spoke about how we can look after our brain, feelings and emotions and how to keep them healthy. We did yoga and meditation, physical activity (floor is lava), mindfulness colouring and craft making. The day was topped off with Plover School winning the Kindness Award! #LovePlover
