In this morning’s crew, we have gained a better understanding of how to stay safe on the Internet, with technology rapidly changing.
Digital Leaders have also been working hard over the last week to come up with some rules to be displayed in classrooms, reminding us how to stay safe and how to look after our devices.
You are our spelling champions this week.
A huge shout out to all of the parents who were able to join us on Thursday at our UKS2 maths parent workshop! They had the opportunity to work through an arithmetic paper just like their children will be sitting in a few months time!
In our next session, we will be looking at how to add and subtract fractions in order to further support their children at home.
The challenge for those of you who could not make it has been added to Google classroom and is due next Thursday!

In our RSE crew, Crew Blackham discussed our feelings and how our feelings can sometimes change just like a rollercoaster! We looked at how we can identify those feelings on ourselves and others and how we can help one another.

To prepare for a competition, year 6 has been working on their athletic skills to cover all the challenges given to them. They worked on their long jumps, speed jump, chest push with a ball and a new challenge, ring toss. They have absolutely smashed it with perseverance today, well done!

Well done to our athletics superstars who represented Plover and themselves impeccably at Trinity Academy. They finished a respectable 4th out of 8 and should be proud of themselves! Check out some of the footage below…

The athletics tournament starts at 1pm and Finishes at 3pm – we aim to he back at Plover for 3.30pm.
