Today 1/2K started our new Maths unit. We began by introducing the vocabulary āheavierā and ālighterā. We then looked at different objects around the room to find out which objects were heavier/lighter than others.
After that we started an investigation. We wanted to measure the mass of three items in our classroom. The children did this using a scale and cubes. We discussed around the importance of accuracy when we were conducting our experiment.
