Working as scientists…..
This week we have been investigating everyday materials, learning about some of their basic properties and starting to think about what they can be used for.
Left Uniform
Hi KS1 Crew
This is all the uniform we have in KS1 without names. We have sorted them into age groups and they will be out on the playground tomorrow morning.
Please take them as they have no name, so they’re yours to claim!
Thanks
Super Sensory Smiles
This week our amazing learning coaches, Mrs Carter, Mrs Jobber and Mrs Enderby have been working with the KS1 children to develop brain breaks and sensory sessions.
A selection of children have been having fun, learning crew skills and helping to regulate through hands-on activities.
HoWLS Heroes
This week 2L have been wriing about castle jobs, learning to order numbers, count in 2’s and 5’s and continuing to work on our reading.
It has been lovely hearing the children talk about the guiding question – ‘What Lies Within The Castle Walls?’ The children are able to explain about the different castles, the feudal system and how our nation has changed over time.
This week’s Pride of Plover winners were Charlie and Anna. Both have been amazing this year and really want to get smart and showcase beautiful work.
Avianna, Ralph and Rufus have been chosen for HoWL postcards for showcasing HoWLS in different ways, but all have made us really proud!
Well done crew!
