Goodbye Butterflies!

Today we set our butterflies free after they had all hatched from their chrysalis. We were all very excited as they flew off and some of us were even lucky enough t hold them. The children all found it hilarious that one jumped onto Miss Wood’s nose!

Butterflies

After watching our caterpillars form their chrysalis’ over the last couple of weeks, today we came into school to find our first butterfly! The children were so excited.

To start our aspirations week off, we talked about what we would like to be when we grow up and discussed what we need to do to achieve that goal. We had lots of fantastic ideas!

Thank you to all the parents and carers who came to celebrate with us on Friday. We are really proud of the children and their performances and I know that the other adults were too.

We have really enjoyed this expedition and are looking forward to the next one in the summer term.

Pride Of Plover

Well done to Benson who is our yellow tshirt winner today! Benson is a prime example of our Plover pledge always trying hard with his learning and putting a big smile on everyones faces, he is an absolute pleasure to have in our crew.

Shoutout to Jennifer who also won our golden ticket today for 100% attendance this week and got to enjoy popcorn and comfy chairs in assembly.

Macey really impressed me with her independent writing today. Macey used the model to copy the word caterpillar and then showed great focus to sound out the rest of her sentence. Well done Macey!
