What fantastic examples of courage!

What fantastic examples of courage our children demonstrated today. 674 steps they had to climb in the wind which was very challenging and very high! They absolutely smashed it and we are all so proud of them. Next stop… the river cruise!

An early start with a tasty breakfast!

The children all slept beautifully last night and are tucking into breakfast this morning. Again, they are obsessed with the hot chocolates, I cannot keep them away!
They have also prepared their own baguettes to eat outside of the Eiffel Tower.

We are heading into Paris shortly.

I have planned a surprise river cruise on the river Seine after we have been up the Eiffel Tower. I know the children will love it!

Will update when we can!

I am working hard

This young man has been working hard at home to replicate what he has made in school. By doing this he has been able to further improve his craftsmanship and the quality of work he has produced is fantastic. Well done!

Thank you, Meltem!

Thank you to our guest speaker, Meltem Avcil who has so kindly offered her time to speak to our children about her childhood story. What an inspiration you are to so many! Speaking to you in person has really helped the children to understand why people still come to Doncaster now.

We hope to see you again, Meltem! Thank you for your time. Safe journey home.

We are Roman craftsmen…

We have been working really hard to recreate our own Roman oil lamps. It’s not been easy to perfect the craftsmanship and quality skills required but we have all done our absolute bests and feel proud of our work…

We are amazing!

Well done to my postcard winners who impress me on a daily basis with how hard they work and how kind they are!

Crepe making fun!

The children are so tired but they managed to squeeze in some crepe making. They absolutely loved it and they were delicious. The children are now showered and settled in bed ready for an early start exploring Paris tomorrow.

We are so proud of them, it’s been a really long day and their behaviour has been exemplary.

Time for tea!

The children are tucking in to a delicious meal. Some have even had seconds! They are all so excited by the unlimited hot chocolates.
