This week we have been painting our faces. We looked at what colour eyes and hair we have, and have spoke about colour mixing.

6B have been working so hard in maths this morning. They were reading and writing numbers up to 10,000,000. I am so proud of their attitudes to learning!

Well do to Eymen who impressed Mrs Price with his super phonics.
Huge appreciation to Laura who is so kind and helpful when tidying up our classroom. #LovePlover

Today in expedition, we discussed the shape of our faces, how we can have different colour skin to others and how we use a paint brush correctly. The children made a great start and we can’t wait to add our face features and detail tomorrow! #LovePlover
This afternoon, we re-created The Blitz scene by cutting out, or creating our own skyline silhouettes. These silhouettes will look great on our expedition board in the LKS2 hallway!
Mr Meade and Mrs Bubb had a great PE session today. We used our heads, hands and hearts. We used our hand to move in different ways. We used our heads to think of different movements and our heart to be kind when playing with our friends. our superstars today were River for explaining the rules so everyone knew how to play and Abbie for being kind and making sure she looked out for people who needed setting free in our ‘ bear stuck in the mud’ game.

We would love all children, parents, carers and family members to get involved with our great Plover bakeoff with amazing prizes to be won! If you want to get involved, please donate your bakes to Miss Blackham (Y6 teacher) or Mrs Blackham (well-being), Miss Lister or Mrs Roe on either Tuesday 24th September or Wednesday 25th September. All proceeds from the sale will go towards Macmillan.
We would also be grateful for shop bought donations too.
Everyone is invited to our Macmillan coffee afternoon, the awards will be announced on Wednesday 25th September at 2pm.
Any remaining cakes will be on school outside 6B at 3:15pm.
Thank you for your support and lets raise money for a very worthy cause together!

Today we went on a dragon hunt, searching for adjectives to describe a dragon. The children had a great time finding words to describe a dragon and then we used these to create our very own dragon poem.
