Class Christmas card

This year, 4F are sending a Christmas card to Doncaster Housing for Young People. This organisation helps house, feed and educate young people who are homeless or on the verge of homelessness. Website: https://www.dhyp.org.uk

It would be great if you could donate any food to go along with the Christmas card. Any food that is non perishable and will last e.g. cans of soup, beans, sweetcorn ect.

Please don’t feel obliged to bring any food, this is purely optional. Miss Farrow will be delivering the card and any food donations later next week one evening.

SLC Reminder

Please remember to give your child their SLC appointment letter with your preference of day and time so that I can book you a time slot. Please see me if you have lost the letter. The children have been working really hard and can’t wait to show you the amazing work they have produced this term in their books. Thank you if you have already returned the letter, the children will return with their appointment times tonight.

Congratulations, Jasper!

Our guess the name of the teddy was announced during Crew Community Meet today. Children were able to guess the name of our lovely gingerbread character at our Science Fair last week. Mrs Ogle selected the winning name from a list, ‘Jaffa’, and Jasper won! Here he is with his prize. Thank you to all who supported this. #LovePlover

We are artists

We have been busy practising a range of artistic skills to produce portraits of the people we have written biographies about for our final product. We made sure that we made careful observations, sketched lightly and used the squares to help us form the correct shapes. Well done everyone!
