Next term we are learning the story Whatever Next about a bear that goes to the moon. He wears yellow wellies. We would like to act out the story. We would appreciate any donations of yellow children’s wellies to help us do this.

Today we learnt about being artists and critiquing the pictures that we had drawn. The children used I notice, I praise and I wonder. There were some fantastic drawings. The finished product will be on our Mother’s day cards.

Today, 4F have been investigating if the lengths of our legs effects how far we can jump.
This week, we have been scientists. We have been investigating different types muscles and their functions.
We have been practicing fine motor skills. We are becoming confident at holding pencils but today the children used string, a hole punch and leaves to make caterpillars by threading.
They then took their caterpillars on adventures.

John has been very kind today helping other children to learn to play. He showed them what to do and how to do it and then included them in the play.
