Aspiration Week

To kick start aspiration week, year 5 had a visit from National Horseracing College. Haydn explained all the different types of jobs associated with horses and how the college can help with any horse related career path. He even let us try on some horseracing silks!

F2 celebration of learning

Thank you to all the parents and carers who came to celebrate with us on Friday. We are really proud of the children and their performances and I know that the other adults were too.

We have really enjoyed this expedition and are looking forward to the next one in the summer term.

Here is a video of our celebration.

Doubling

In maths this week we have been looking at doubles. F2W have become really confident in spotting doubles and explaining why, some children can also recall me some doubles.

Today’s superstars

Well done to John-Boy and Ellie for applying their learning on doubles whilst in provision.

Well done Kaiden-John for trying really hard to cut on the line and to Jaxon for encouraging others in their play and using their imagination.

Beautiful Work

Macey really impressed me with her independent writing today. Macey used the model to copy the word caterpillar and then showed great focus to sound out the rest of her sentence. Well done Macey!

Being Kind

Siyar noticed that his peer was upset today because there was no chocolate flavour cakes left at snack time. Siyar very kindly swapped his vanialla cupcake with his peer to cheer them up.
