Today we learnt what to do if a pop up appears on our electronic devices. We looked at the story ā€˜Pop up gremlinsā€™ then made our own pop up gremlins in provision. We learnt the three rules – stop, cross, tell, to ensure we keep ourselves safe online.

What do plants need to grow?

Today we have been scientists and learnt what plants need to grow. We discussed if we need the same/different things to help us grow.
Shout out to Aaron this morning who said ā€œplants and children are both living thingsā€.

This afternoon we acted out how plants grow with Mrs Bubb. We started of as the tiny seed, and grew into a beautiful plant. We remembered that the roots go down and the shoots go up.

Yummy veggie fajitas

As part of our expedition, Ready, Steady, Grow: How can I be the healthiest version of me? 2L has been preparing food. We worked in small groups and carefully sliced peppers, mushrooms, and onions, as well as peeling and grating carrots and cheese. We then cooked the veggies and turned them into vegetable fajitas. They were yummy!
