Last week in Year 2 we were finding out about how castles have changed over time and learning about the different parts of a castle. The children worked in pairs to label the castle and we discussed how castles are different to our own houses.

Last week, 1CR made a great start to the last few weeks. We have been impressed with their maths work and their beautiful handwriting. We have been working hard to learn about castles and start to understand the different parts of the castles.

The bear came to visit

One morning the bear was in F2BP. We wondered where he had been and when he left, where he was going. The children came up with lots of ideas and created posters of how to find the bear. They thought about his feelings, made food for him and wrote him letters.

They are hoping he will come back again!
