Welcome Back 2P

Welcome back everyone. We had a fabulous first day back in 2P, enjoying our hook week activities.  The children really reflected on how what we use in our everyday life affects our planet. Please encourage your child to complete the plastic diary sent home yesterday.

Watch out for the amazing notices and wonders the children are currently writing – some truly awesome work coming your way!

Imaginative immersion

Year 6 have been busy being creative today. They have transformed our blank canvas classrooms into rainforests with trees, canopy layers and animals which would be found in the rainforest environment.

Well done everyone – true crew teamwork!

Christmas Party Fun!

We had a lovely time this afternoon at our Christmas Party. After a lovely party lunch prepared by the school catering staff (thank you!), we played some favourites traditional games – musical chairs, corners, pass the parcel and sleeping lions. But I think one of the favourite games was our crew snowball fight! Yes you heard correctly – we had our own indoor snowball fight and it was great!

We ended the day singing and dancing to Christmas classics!

I really feel like Christmas has started and I loved spending the afternoon with Year 3!

Perfect Panto (oh yes it was!!)

I was so proud and a little moved at the pantomime this afternoon as the children enjoyed it so much.

They threw themselves into the spirit of the pantomime, cheering and shouting and dancing along.

The smiles on their faces were an absolute picture and so many children said thank you at end. It was lovely!
