Emorie wrote an extra list for us.

Today we had a visit from an A and E nurse called Theresa. She told us about her job and how she helps people to feel better so that they can be healthy again. She wore her uniform and showed some of the equipment that she uses. This continued our learning of the visit of Mr Price as a paramedic.

3H had an incredible week last week with lots of exciting learning taking place. We have been scientists and have officially become expert electricians! Everyone can use the electricity kits to create a simple circuit which lights up a bulb.

We have continued our exploration of the text ‘The Great Food Bank Heist’ where we have debugged words that we weren’t sure of the meaning of. We have then practised our retrieval and inference skills to further improve our understanding of the story.

In crew yesterday the children were learning about what we need to do with our bodies to be healthy. The children practiced different exercises.

Today, 4F have taken the role of different components in a circuit. We acted out complete and incomplete circuits, explaining how they work.
Our class have enjoyed working practically with circuits this week.
As part of our hook week Mrs Shaw brought baby George to visit us. We found out lots of things about babies and what they can and can’t do. We measured him and he was 26 blocks which was 1 more than our baby doll. We wonder if he will have grown when he comes to visit us next time!
