As part of our expedition we have been learning about what our bodies looks like. We have practiced using body part words especially shoulder, ankle and wrist.
We created artwork using different materials to make our faces.
We also learnt to draw pictures of our bodies remembering that our legs donāt come out of our chins and our arms out of our ears. The children took lots of care to remember all the things that we had talked about. We will be sharing our art work.

Riley was so kind today helping one of the children in our class who was struggling to line up. He reminded them what to do, helped them to hang up their coat and to settle onto the carpet. Thank you for your kindness Riley.

Kaiden-John was very proud of himself this morning for sorting and reading words with the digraphs that we have learnt. He shared his learning too.
Well done Kaiden-John.

As part of our hook week Mrs Shaw brought baby George to visit us. We found out lots of things about babies and what they can and can’t do. We measured him and he was 26 blocks which was 1 more than our baby doll. We wonder if he will have grown when he comes to visit us next time!

Elijah impressed everyone at dinner time by following the dinner procedures on his own including going to the toilet and washing his hands. Lots of children forget some of the routine but Elijah remembered it all.
Well done Elijah.
