Pantomime Season
What an enjoyable way to start our two Christmas weeks at Plover School. We had a superb pantomime from Chaplins Panto. #LovePlover
Pride of Plover
Well done to our two beautiful pride of Plover this week! Myself and Mrs Melady have seen a huge improvement, in both Avez and Dila’s confidence recently and this is reflecting in the amazing learning they are producing. Avez and Dila are an absolute pleasure to have in our nursery crew, always working hard and being kind to others. You are both making fantastic progress and are making us extremely proud – keep it up!

Hansel and Gretel workshop
Wow, what an amazing morning we have had today! We were so lucky to have Kerry and Tash come in from CAST Theatre, to teach us the story of Hansel and Gretel, through drama. The children enjoyed getting into the roles of the different characters and exploring props. Once we had finished we went back to the create doughnuts, for the gingerbread house flooring, which we will see in CAST theatre when we go to visit. We are so excited to go and work with Kerry and Tash again at CAST theatre in a couple of weeks, and watch the performance of Hansel and Gretel.
Mrs Williams was so proud of how well everyone participated in this workshop, and the great respect and integrity all children showed towards our visitors. Well done nursery!

Remembrance Day
F1 have created and explored poppies in different ways today, to remember our fallen soldiers. We spoke about why we celebrate Remembrance Day. The children made me really proud when they all stayed quiet to show their respects during the two minutes silence!

Pride Of Plover
Well done Willow for getting our first pride of plover of the year! You have become so much more confident leaving your mummy and speaking to familiar adults in school. You always work hard on your adult directed tasks and have shown that you can join in with signing our Christmas nativity songs.

Hedgehogs!
This week F1 have been learning all about hedgehogs. We used a variety of different materials to create our own hedgehogs including paint, glue/leaves and clay. There has been some absolutely beautiful artwork, all the children have worked so hard!

Wearing red to stand up to racism
Today F1 gave racism the red card. We all wore red to stand up to racism and learnt about being kind to everyone, no matter the colour of their skin/their beliefs.
