Making faces

One of the things that we need to get better at is cutting. Today we practiced our skills and made faces. We talked about what was the same and different.

F2 Pride of Plover

Today we celebrated with Maria and Rahaf. Both girls have grown in confidence since starting F2 and have been working hard. They are good friends to other children and help them too. They have been working super hard in phonics.

Well done Maria and Rahaf. We are proud of you.

Different Families:Same Love

In We Care Crew, we began our learning about families. To kick this off, we played a relay game where each team had to run and find a picture of a family until all our team members had found one. We stuck all the pictures onto a big poster and talked about how all families look a bit different. We discussed how this was okay and that there will be some families with two Mummies, Two Daddies, A Mummy and/or a Daddy, Step-parents, Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles- lots of different families but the same love ❤️

Party Games – F2M Democracy

Our key text this week has been ‘It’s My Birthday’. Yesterday, the children were able to work collaboratively to sequence the animals and match the ingredients they used to make a birthday cake. Today, we discussed how people are different and like different things. We talked about different birthday presents and which party games we like. We voted and created a bar chart. It was lovely to see the children continue the party games in provision! #LovePlover

Congratulations to Rivier and Kaiya. They are two amazing little girls who have really developed confidence over the last few weeks. They are so kind and helpful and work hard.

We Care Wednesday

Today, we checked in by saying something we love doing with our families. Lots of people said playing is their favourite thing to do. Others said ” going on holiday” and “going to the park” and “watching Bluey”. It was so great to be in a crew circle and have every child speak and listen to eachother. We really are learning what Crew is!

We then had a game of Charades. It was funny, not being able to speak but helping people understand us. We guessed, ‘sleeping’, ‘baking’, ‘blowing out a candle’, ‘jumping’ and a number of animals. We were brilliant at it and best of all, we had fun together.

The children said they might play it home with their families.
