We have been celebrating being smart, being kind and working hard in Foundation 1.
Here are our early starter children, who will still be in Foundation 1 in September. They are learning how to share toys and learn indoors and outdoors.
Here is some independent learning from our children who are 4 years old and looking forward to going into Foundation 2 in September!
We can compare amounts and say if we have more or fewer.
Today we have been exploring letter shapes in the foam. It was fabulous!
This next half term EYFS are going to take part in the Doncaster Reading Challenge. Each day your child reads to an adult at home in F2 or has a story read to them at home in F1 they can have a circle initialled by their grown up. When they reach one of the Doncaster destinations they can colour the picture at the bottom. Once the challenge is completed a certificate will be awarded. You can start this challenge straight away. We will be sending home the map for your child to complete.
Happy reading everyone!

We decorated the wings of our dragons, by trying to put the same colours and patterns on each of the wings.
We also have been learning, to say how many spots are on the dice for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, without having to count them first. Then we drew the spots in our math meeting.
This week we have been learning about bearded dragons. We made them from salt dough and painted them.
Today we had great fun putting on our waterproofs and wellies and using our new water play equipment.
